The Goddard School located in Erie, CO is a renowned program with a Piaget (Learning through Play) based foundation for children from 6 weeks to 6 years. The focus of the program is to provide a life-long love of learning. Our staff is made of loving and dedicated teachers who understand each childs needs. They are highly qualified childhood educators who are able to use their creativity and the Goddard Developmental Guidelines as the basis for unique lesson plans that are brought to life in a fun and imaginative way.

We are looking for an kenergetic Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom.

Daily Responsibilities

• Arriving at Goddard each day with an enthusiastic and positive attitude

• Supporting Goddards programs and policies as well as state licensing requirements

• Implementing daily lesson plans

• Supporting social and emotional development and providing positive guidance

• Establishing positive and productive relationships with families

• Maintaining a commitment to professionalism

• Participation in staff and training meetings

Job Requirements

Assistant Teacher Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with young children

• CDA or completion of Early Childhood Education classes

• Nurturing and loving teaching style

• Strong Communication skills

• Dependability and a commitment to professional development and teamwork

• Committing to continuing education.
