Environmental Technician at Henderson

Job Description

Job Classification: Direct Hire Aerotek is looking to hire an Environmental Technician to work in a hazardous material receiving warehouse at their Henderson, CO facility. The primary responsibility of this candidate will be to clean large flow meters to remove hazardous waste. Day-to-day work involves sorting materials as they enter the facility and preparing them to be shipped off site.Qualified candidates must have a working knowledge of basic chemistry. Hazardous materials may be encountered so all candidates are required to have a 40/hr HAZWOPER and complete a hazardous physical and a medical clearance including a respirator fit test after an official offer is made. ** Respirators will not be worn at all times. Minimum Requirements:- 40 hour Hazwoper required prior to submitting a resume- HS diploma or GED is required- 6+ months experience performing environmental field work - A background operating forklifts is a plusThis is an excellent opportunity that offers room for professional growth and financial advancement for long term employees.
