Job Classification: Contract Aerotek is currently working with a Wastewater Treatment Facility in Castle Rock, Colorado that is currently seeking a Wastewater Groundskeeper/Maintenance Technician for a long term career position. This client offers a small office feel, a tenured staff with great personalities who are team oriented and hard working. Once a permanent employee, our client does offer a 401(k) match as well health coverage.Duties will include: -Maintaining treatment plant grounds, buildings and vehicles taking great pride in plant cleanliness and appearance. Applicants must be flexible, willing to work in a variety of conditions, and have good mechanical aptitude-Performing building maintenance duties of painting, sweep/clean floors, wash windows, wiping cabinets and hand rails, pressure wash equipment/walls/floors, remove garbage, shop organization-Performing basic maintenance on vehicles such as wash, vacuum, clean windows, oil change-Performing basic preventative maintenance such as changing HVAC filters, checking oil levels on equipment, greasing equipment-Performing cleaning on any tanks on plant site as needed;-Demonstrating continuous effort to improve and streamline work processes, working cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service;-Performing other duties as assigned.This position requires: Moderate to heavy physical work requiring ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; regular walking and standing; some pushing, pulling, bending, stooping/crouching, and climbing.Work Environment: Works both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions with exposure to noise, dust, and fumes. Equipment Used: Operates mechanical and technological equipment and vehicles common to utility maintenance functions; personal computer and related software.Applicants must possess valid drivers license; may be required to submit to a pre-employment drug-screen and thorough background checks; must have (or obtain within one year) a D wastewater license; must live within 30 minutes of the plant; must be on the on-call rotation; on-call personnel must be within 30 minutes of the plant at all times during their rotation; must provide clean MVR.Please reply with your updated resume if you are interested in this opportunity.
