Job Classification: Contract Job Description:- Responsible for planning and implementing the necessary hardware, software and telecommunications equipment to maintain and/or enhance the customers local and wide-area networks.- Evaluate vendor products and recommend purchases consistent with the organizations short and long term objectives.- Recommend and implement network policies and procedures and ensure adherence to security procedures(familiarity of the DISA STIG library to prepare for the CCRI).- Provide other options to the customers for upgrades and installs during critical times of usage on the network.- Review hardware trends and make recommendations for upgrades based on industry changes and standards.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree and 3+ years experience, or a commensurate combination of education, training, and experience required.- 2-3 Years experience with Microsoft Active Directory.- Security+ certification.- MCP or similar OS certification required.- ITILv3 Foundations required.- DOD Secret Security ClearancePreferred Additional Skills:- CCNA, MCSE- Previous experience supporting government and/or Department of Defense customers.
