Job Description

Responsibilities: A Kforce client is seeking a Baseline Data Senior Programmer Analyst in Aurora, Colorado (CO).The Baseline Data Senior Programmer Analyst will be responsible for the management of the data, programs, report development needed to support the baseline data and vulnerability remediation which includes large complex application and infrastructure across the IT Organization. This position is primary responsible for baseline data mart, web interfaces, reports and SQL queries supporting the development and maintenance of project plans, metrics for reporting to senior leadership, and reporting metrics.The candidate must be able to perform various project related tasks, such as: Organizing meetings, maintaining project plans, budgets and status report.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a related field and/or 10 years of equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, data and report writing
• Excellent verbal and written skills are a must, as well as having the ability to effectively communicate with senior project managers in terms of understanding whats required to support the project
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must
• Project Management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service experience working in a team environment
• Proven expertise in using the following:
• Visual Basic
• MS SQL Server
• Visual Studio
• Java and HTML 5
• ETL: Extract Transfer Load Technology, SSIS:SQL Server Integration Services

The desired candidate will have a strong software and relational database design background and will work in a team environment. • Database Management, Table Construction, Index Creation, and Optimization
• Technical Documentation to include Entity Relation Ship Diagrams and Program Definition and Description
• Understand Data Center Inventory Management
• Understand Server Equipment Architecture and components
• Understand or have worked with Microsoft or IBM patch management
• Experience with McAffee Foundstone or other vulnerability scanning software
• Experience with various server technology OS versions
• Experience with Remedy Change management procedures
