Job Description

The Dealer Sales Rep (DSR) is an outside sales role tasked to develop, maintain, and grow relationships with Dealer customers. This position will report to the Area General Manager and cover the Colorado area.Responsibilities include: The DSR promotes and sells strategic 3rd party products and implements efficient order-entry strategies to grow Distribution profitability with retailer customers. The DSR owns the dealer relationships and buyer relationship with key customers. The DSR safely delivers superior value to customers in support of primary demand efforts and profitably grows specialty products sales as well as Structural Frame products to dealers and integrators. The DSR coordinates efforts with local dealers and customers on all building products supported out of Weyerhaeuser Distribution. Where needed, they would leverage the technical resources within the Division to work any specific technical issues and/or automation issues. Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience
  • Ability to develop effective relationships
  • Strong customer service skills and experience
  • Proven success managing large, complex accounts, including: building and maintaining executive relationships, developing programs and promotions, negotiating solutions to improve profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Possesses a minimum level of expertise in all structural frame products (completed Introductory Structural Frame training) including knowledge of the manufacturing process, product features and applications.
  • Understands and can articulate the financial drivers of retail, wholesale and construction industry
