Senior FP&A Analyst at Longmont

Job Description

As a Senior FP&A Analyst with Dot Hil you will lead the development and updating of the operating and capital expense budgets, monthly forecasts, interim reporting and budget-to-actual comparisons.

More about this role:

• Coordinate and drive the annual budget and planning process and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Drive analysis of business performance using financial and statistical techniques to evaluate business trends and effectiveness of strategic initiatives and identify and communicate implications on future performance
• Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations regarding improvements to the business as well as complete business case modeling for all new initiatives and projects
• Develops and implements new techniques for financial analysis. Utilizes concepts to resolve a wide range of difficult problems with resourceful and practical approaches.
• Prepares monthly operating plan results, BOD presentations and other as needed ad hoc reporting.
• Must have an understanding of accounting and corporate finance concepts in preparing Cash-flow and Balance Sheet forecasts.

 
Desired Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
• At least 5-7 years of experience as an analyst role in Corporate Finance and Planning function
• Ability to aggregate information in presentation format for effective analysis and communication
• Ability to collect, research complex or diverse information;
• Excellent quantitative skills including statistical analyses and financial modeling
• Microsoft Access DB programing experience
• Expert/Advanced proficiency with Excel is mandatory – including knowledge of Visual Basic.
• Experience in supporting engineering, manufacturing and operations functions a plus
• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a strong orientation to detail
