Overview:

FishNet Security is looking for a full time forensic examiner with strong experience in incident response and digital forensics. FishNet Security is a top of the line forensics firm that address all levels of investigation, from small 1-2 drive collection and analysis to full enterprise grade investigations with 50-100+ devices. Candidates may live anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

The primarily focus is to Conduct Forensic Acquisitions: FTK Imager,EnCase Acquisition Mode,Helix 3, dd, Hardware duplicators and Live memory collection Conduct Forensic Analysis. This position is for a versatile experienced examiner that can work well in the entire investigation, either onsite for collection and triage or in evidence review to pull apart logs and reverse engineer malware.

Job Requirements

All applicants must have a strong background in the following areas:

-Digital Forensics
-EnCase
-Helix
-FTK
-Cell Phone Forensics
-Network Architecture and Topology
-Application Development
-Payment Card Industry (PCI-DSS and PA-DSS)
-Minimum of 4 years experience in the digital
forensics industry

Knowledge requirements:

-Malware reverse engineering
-System and event log correlations
-Registry diving
-Interpretation of evidence in unallocated and
slack space
-Identification of magnetic stripe data

-Custom grep querries
-Manual RAID recovery and analysis
-NTFS, FAT, ext3 file structure

The following certifications are preferred:

-EnCE
-FTK Certified
-Any level of network certification
-PCI-QSA
-PA-QSA
-CISSP
-CISA
