Senior Geophysicist at Denver

Job Description

Job Classification: Contract Aerotek Engineering is actively seeking a Senior Geophysicist with 10-15 years of experience in geophysical surveys, detection and discrimination of buried military munitions, managing government projects, utilizing VSP and UXO Estimator, strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management. Responsibilities:-Preparing Work Plans for geophysical surveys/mapping in support of investigation and remediation projects-Preparing purchase requisitions and obtaining bids for geophysical survey and mapping.-Evaluating geophysical data relative to presence and extent of buried military munitions-supervising geophysical activities and providing quality control of surveying and mapping-Monitoring and controlling budgets, direct costs and schedules for geophysical activities-Reviewing geophysical survey reports and presenting quality control dataEducation RequirementBS in Geophysics, Geology or Geological EngineeringMS Geophysics is preferred If you meet the minimum qualifications and is interested in this position, please send me your resume and references.
