Job Description

Genesis10 is seeking a Specialized Technical Analystfor a 6 month contract position with a major utility supplier of electric power and natural gas in Golden, CO.

Summary:

This resource will provide subject matter expertise in support of an Energy Management / SCADA environment. This team works primarily out of Golden, CO andthey support multiple areas in Denver CO. On a daily basis, this analyst will need to work with the Energy Management team, System Operators and Engineering staff to support updates to the Electric Network / Control applications.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the EMS analyst with development and integration of thewebScheduling and webAccounting applications.
• Assist with display and database work as required for the migration of the existing Siemens system to aXA21 system.
• Assist with upgrades and maintenance of existing as well as future EMS specific technology.
• Utilize professional expertise to perform analysis, assist with project support and/or development activities within the EMS environment.
• Provide staff augmentation for the EMS/SCADA Application Delivery group.
• Responsibilities may include support for the following: PI, Tagging and Scheduling, Energy Accounting, Network Applications, AGC, Oracle / SQL server based systems.

Job Requirements

• Background in any of the following: Engineering (Electrical preferred), Programmer / System Analyst, PI System Administrator, SQL Administrator

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the following: Oracle, OSIsoft PI, OATI platforms (including webAccounting, webTrans, and OASIS), SQL and SQL Server, JAVA, C# or comparable programming languages.
• Experience in any of the following areas will be beneficial: Electric SCADA system, OSIsoft PI system, Siemens Spectrum, OSI, Client XA21, Data Warehouse, AGC, Network Applications, Energy Accounting, OATI applications, JAVA, Oracle.
