Publically-traded, Denver-based Company seeks a Corporate Accounting Manager.

 

This is a great position that will play key role in the growth and success of the organization.

 

Some of the key job responsibilities of the Corporate Accounting Manager will include:

 

  • Coordinates the overall corporate close process
  • Supervise senior corporate accountants
  • Performs and/or reviews the corporate consolidations
  • Assists with overseeing accounting for the company’s investments
  • Directs the accounting for certain technical areas
  • Coordinates with various internal departments, outside auditors and other consultants.
  • Performs ad hoc analyses of financial and operational results

Job Requirements

Corporate Accounting Manager candidates must meet the following qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting


  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)


  • CPA a plus, but not required


  • 4-7 years general accounting experience including accounting for various corporate accounting functions including consolidations, internal and external reporting.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with top leadership


  • Supervisory experience


  • Real estate experience a plus


  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and good organizational and time management skills


  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment


  • Ability to prioritize workload to achieve the department’s goals
