Job Summary
Leads process transformation initiatives by leading definition, process assessment and redesign activities. Facilitates workshops, summarizes issues, defines gaps between current and future state, develops solution recommendations. Under technical direction, provides process and project support to the business in the development and deployment of business process redesign efforts as well as in on-going process assessment, evaluation and improvement. Leads projects or project phases of low complexity.
Owns the development of solution deployment plan. Partners with all involved parties (e.g., WWO departments, HR, IT, Compliance, Corporate Communication, KLG) to ensure smooth solution deployment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develops business process management implementation methodology, defines the methods, tools and reporting standards for process measurement. Consults with CNA process center of excellence to apply CNAs standards when applicable.
Operates within the scope of the larger program as an ownerof process redesign work packages, defines the objectives, scope, and specific timeline within the larger project timeline,provides status updates to the larger project team.
Coordinates input and work efforts of multiple parties, develops the plan for testing, validation, documentation, training, adjustment and measurement of the new processes.
Leads the implementation of the new processes and monitoring mechanisms, including change management, communication, training, and testing activities.
Partners withbusiness owners of quality, training, and other operations areasre impacted by the changes in processesto ensure integration in training, quality, and other programs.
Identifies continuous process improvement opportunities and works with appropriate business leaders to develop and execute on implementation plans.
Participates in developing project charters, timelines, and resource needs and introduces the project approach to the business.
Prepares and actively participates in current state and future state process workshops by researching industry and non-industry process practices, synthesizing and summarizing issues identified in the workshops, developing solution recommendations, supporting project management activities and contributing ideas for the deployment plan.
Assumes project management responsibilities for projects of low complexity, focusing on management of project pace, scope, and risk.
Participates in defining process performance measures, determines data availability, advises operational reporting group of required measures, and develops methods and tools to track process performance.
Develops tools and templates to facilitate process assessment, redesign and reengineering.
May perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities 1. Knowledge of the insurance industry as well as understanding of the companys products, services, goals and objectives.
2. Solid analytical, organizational and planning skills
3. Solid knowledge of business process fundamentals (e.g., process work-breakdown-structure, workflow), assessment and redesign methodology, Business Process Management concepts and practices
4. Solid business process modeling and analysis skills
5. Proficiency to facilitate meetings of low complexity
6. Solid knowledge of project management principles
7. Knowledge of change management principles and methods
8. Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills both verbal and written
9. Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
Education & Experience1. Bachelors degree in a related discipline or equivalent. 2. Typically a minimum of four years of related work experience including two to three years experience in designing and deploying processes or improving existing processes 3. Typically to three years experience with business process modeling analysis and design tools and two to three years project management experience
